INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST/GROVE LAKES — A Valero store clerk and a customer argued over money, and someone called deputies to intervene. The clerk made a mistake and denied the customer gave him $40, but then admitted he made the mistake. The customer would not accept the money back until deputies arrived.

▲ AKINS POND ROAD — A woman found a purse and turned it over to the sheriff’s office. Attempts were made to contact the owner, but no one answered.

▲ OLD LEEFIELD ROAD — A man said his wife contacted him via social media calls to talk to their child, but when she made inappropriate remarks, he made the child hang up. He said he wanted the calls to stop — he did not know where the wife was staying and she did not have a phone number.

▲ THE BARN MOBILE HOME PARK — A man reported another man borrowed a motorcycle and did not return it. When the second man went to get the motorcycle to return it to the owner, he found it had been allegedly stolen.

▲ THE THRIFTY DRAGONFLY/HIGHWAY 301 NORTH — A woman said her bicycle was stolen from her place of employment.

▲ PINE INN ROAD — A man said someone stole three tires from his 18-wheeler parked there.

▲ TOMMY CANNADY LANE — A man said someone stole three Holley carburetors, tools and tires from his parents’ property. He listed a suspicious person as a suspect.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ FAIR ROAD — A suspect was arrested regarding two separate cases of entering auto.

▲ GEORGIA AVENUE — A small amount of money was taken from a vehicle.

Due to weather issues, no additional reports were filed Thursday.
