Statesboro Police Department
WOODLAND PLAZA — Officers responding to a call about a woman being dragged by her own car found the female under the influence of and in possession of drugs. She was arrested and taken to jail.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
LOTT’S CREEK ROAD — A man reported the theft of several items as well as damage to his property. Reports did not list items taken; he was asked to provide a list and estimated value to investigators.
HIGHWAY 46 — A man reported a burglary during which someone broke into his home and stole about $500 worth of items. Tire marks were found outside, and a neighbor reported seeing a light on at the residence while the man was away at work.
LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD — A man with mental illness was irate, throwing chairs around a yard, and told another man to shoot him. When deputies arrived, they saw the man, who had not taken his medications, was in need of help and sent him to the hospital.
