Statesboro Police Department
SOUTHERN DOWNS APARTMENTS - A man told police he and his roommate were attacked by unknown persons after they went in search of suspects who burglarized their home. He said that at one point, someone pointed a firearm at his roommate. One of the men showed visible injuries.
STILES INN - Police responded to a domestic disturbance that involved physical fighting.
CHANDLER ROAD - A man was arrested after a victim said the man damaged the complainant's apartment and caused personal injury.
LANIER DRIVE - Four juveniles were arrested after a man reported criminal trespass.
RENAISSANCE APARTMENTS - A woman in the hospital told police a man hurt her two days before and that her arm was still hurting from the incident.
THE LODGE APARTMENTS - Police and EMS responded to a report of a man injured. The man had been struck in the eye during an altercation but refused treatment and would not cooperate with police.
STATESBORO MALL - A man, served three times previously with criminal trespass warnings, was arrested when he returned yet again.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - Two offenders who took $220 worth of merchandise from shelves and tried to get refunds for them were arrested after police reviewed a video of the incident.
DINGUS MAGEE'S - A man discovered damage to his vehicle. The offender was located in the hospital's emergency room and arrested for disorderly conduct.
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
MOORE ROAD - Two men argued after one expressed his opinion on how the other man treated his sister and demanded he leave the property. When deputies arrived, they also heard a civil matter complaint and referred the involved parties to magistrate court.
HIGHWAY 46 - A man and woman argued after the man awoke at 4 a.m. and threatened to air their personal issues on social media. The woman said he grabbed her wrist and hurt her.
CIRCLE DRIVE - A woman said someone threw an orange tennis ball, picked up from the complainant's own yard and belonging to her, through her window.
AGNES AKINS ROAD - A man reported the theft of 25 bales of pine straw. He said he suspected a man with whom he had argued over payment of the straw, but the accused told deputies he had no way of hauling the straw and did not steal it.
BROOKLET DENMARK ROAD - A man caught two men picking up pecans from his property without permission. Deputies served the men with criminal trespass.
PECAN GROVE MOBILE HOME PARK - A woman was arrested after threatening others with claims that she had a gun while screaming obscenities.
SOUTH DEKLE ROAD - A man, intoxicated, tried to attack his sister and ended up fighting his brother-in-law, whom he struck in the face, causing visible injuries.
NEWCASTLE ROAD - A woman said her baby's father threw a pack of diapers at the complainant, hitting her in the face, then threw a bicycle at her, striking her in the back. She said she threw the bike back at him, hitting his car. She was given advice on how to take out warrants. The man was not there when deputies arrived.
PAT'S LANE - Two women were charged with battery after an altercation.
CRICKET HOLLOW LANE - A man didn't come home until the morning after spending a night out with a friend. He refused to answer his five-months-pregnant wife's questions, punched a hole in a mirror and struggled with her over her keys as she tried to leave in her car, elbowing and striking her and tearing her shirt. He was arrested.
SUMMERWIND PLACE - A man said a family acquaintance, with whom his family doesn't associate much due to his habits with which they don't agree, offered via text to give his juvenile daughter a pedicure.
KYLE SORRELL ROAD - A woman reported a man sitting down, exposing himself, in her trailer park.
AKINS LANE - A woman said a man grabbed her by the neck and threw her down on a couch after a football party. Each said the other became angry over unknown reasons. Due to conflicting stories and no evidence of injury, both were given information on obtaining warrants if they wished.
