Police Report 10-18-13 - A man reported the theft of four AK-47 semiautomatic rifles

John Howard Luna, 51, Deloach Church Road, Nevils — suspended license.
Chelsy Taqual Riggs, 20, Rucker Lane — suspended license, headlights violation.

  Incidents
RUSHING LANE — A man reported the theft of four AK-47 semiautomatic Russian paratrooper model rifles and four cans each holding 1,100 rounds of ammunition from Hometown Inn. Reports listed a Rocky Ford woman as a suspect.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
  Arrests
Gary Dale Joyner II, 38, Stilson-Leefield Road, Brooklet — aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, obstruction.
Ronald Wayne Morris Jr., 44, Jill Street, Metter — theft by deception, felony theft by taking, identity fraud.

  Incidents
DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — A man was watching TV when someone rattled his door, trying to get in. He asked twice who it was, with no answer, but they continued rattling the door. When he asked someone else in the home to bring his shotgun, the unknown person fled.
TRISTIN AMBER COURT — (Brooklet) A woman complained about a man driving past her house repeatedly just to aggravate her. The man admitted doing so but told deputies he would stop.
BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said another man harassed him by phone over money owed for grapes.

  Officers issued two traffic citations Wednesday.
Evan Lamar Beamon,19, Georgia Avenue — rape.

  Incidents
Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted 11 motorists Wednesday.
NURSING/CHEMISTRY BUILDING — Officers responded to a possible hazardous material incident, along with the Statesboro Fire Department. The laboratory researchers were notified and responded as well. The researchers advised that area was safe and no immediate problems existed.
