STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Douglas Ryan Plotts, 24, Bowen Road, Twin City — theft by shoplifting.
    Linda Fay Bacon, 58, Lotties Lane — marijuana possession.

Incidents
    LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — A woman said her child’s father tried to kick her door in, but police found no evidence of that.
    WEST INMAN LANE — A man said he left a bag containing $9,000 cash, along with eight scratch-off lottery tickets, in his vehicle, He  told police someone stole the items.
    WALMART — A man shoplifted a video game, a DVD, and the book “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
    EAST MAIN STREET — Police investigated a tip and found a man had been stealing power tools from neighbors and pawning them, returning them before they were sold.
    NORTH MAIN AT HILL STREET — An officer stopped a driver for a traffic offense. The driver stopped, put the vehicle in reverse, struck the police patrol car, then fled on foot, leaving the car behind.
    OAK HOLLOW DRIVE — A woman told police a man asked to do yard work, and upon completing it, started asking questions about the woman’s alarm system and living arrangements.
    COLLEGE PLAZA — A man reported the theft of a Ruger P39  9 mm handgun and two 10-round magazines from a vehicle.
    GRADY JOHNSON ROAD — A man and his adult son argued, and someone called police.

Arrests
    Antonio Damantae Collins, 32, Rountree Street — child support lockup.
    Thomas James Collins, 52, Pike Road — methamphetamine possession, probation violation.

Incidents
    CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE — (Statesboro) Clothes, cash and jewelry were stolen during a burglary.
    BROOKLET SOUTH DRIVE — (Brooklet) A woman said her ex-husband has made threats and derogatory comments about her via text and Facebook posts.
