Police: Man steals, wears Christmas wreath

Officers collared a shirtless man wearing a Christmas wreath — which he had put around his neck after stealing it — about four hours after he was first spotted with the holiday accessory, police said. Derrion Cortez Barlow, 22, of Lanier Drive, was charged with entering auto and theft. A witness reported seeing the shirtless, wreathed man near Cambridge at Southern apartments around 3:18 a.m. Sunday, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said.
