A man was shot early Friday morning in what police said was a drug-related home invasion at a Knight Drive apartment complex near Georgia Southern University. The victim remains unidentified as the investigation is ongoing, said Statesboro Police Chief Mike Broadhead. Around 1:30 a.m. Friday, three masked suspects burst uninvited into an Eagle Walk apartment, bearing firearms, and shot one of seven victims inside, he said.
