One dead after shooting in Bulloch
Shooting happened at PoJo's on Hwy. 80 and Burkhalter Road, suspect at large

Bulloch County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal shooting at PoJo's on Hwy. 80 and Burkhalter Road Tuesday night. One victim is dead and deputies are seeking a suspect.  East Georgia Regional Medical Center was locked down after the incident, following protocol when they receive a gunshot victim, according to hospital staff.

The BCSO has identified the suspect as Jerry Thomas Pritchard, 26. Pritchard is described as a white male, 5' 8", with short red hair.

He was driving a silver 4-door Kia Sorrento with North Carolina plates.

The BCSO is advising people in the area to look their doors, be safe and report any suspicious activity.  

According to the BCSO, the victim was a male and the incident was a result of an ongoing dispute. An off-duty officer gave the victim CPR at the scene, but the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Capt. Todd Hutchens said no further details are available as the case is actively being investigated.
