Statesboro police are seeking a suspect believed to have stolen a truck and burglarized a closed convenience store early Thursday morning. Around 1:45 a.m., a Statesboro police officer tried to stop a red 1999 Dodge Ram truck that was speeding on Aruba Avenue, said Madison Warren, Statesboro Police community information specialist. The driver of the truck abandoned it and fled, and the officer found $150 worth of cigarillos and $250 worth of alcoholic beverages.
