Services for Ronald Lovett, age 66, of Dublin, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery.
Mr. Lovett went to his heavenly home on Monday, April 9, 2018.
Mr. Lovett was a registered nurse in Dublin since 1971. He retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center after 35 years of service. He also worked over 20 years at Southland Health and Rehab.
Mr. Lovett truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: spending time with his family, working in the yard, playing his guitar, singing, cooking and watching his favorite westerns. He was also a fan of all sports.
Mr. Lovett was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Clyde and Almira Henderson Lovett; siblings, Willie Clyde Lovett Jr., Claude Delmas Lovett, Shelby Jean Williams, Ima Jean Newsome, James Wendell Lovett, Worthen E. Lovett and Linda Bridges.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Della Bennett Lovett; daughters, Rhonda Lovett (Johnny Williams) Reed and Robin Lovett (Greg) Holmes, all of Dublin; granddaughters, Alyssa Jade Reed, Lauren Olivia Reed, McKenna Danielle Reed and Kayla Nicole Holmes; and many nieces and nephews.
