No one was injured Wednesday morning when a school bus carrying students to Southeast Bulloch Middle and High Schools was involved in an accident on Highway 80 East in Brooklet.

Hayley Greene, public relations and marketing specialist with Bulloch County Schools, said the accident occurred about 7:30 a.m. in front of the Ken's IGA grocery store. After it was determined no one was hurt, an alternate bus was brought to the scene and took the students to school. Greene said the students would be checked by school nurses when they arrived at school, as well.

"As in the case of all accidents, the bus driver will undergo mandatory drug and alcohol testing later Wednesday," Greene said.
