No charges are expected regarding the death of a Statesboro teen from a fall Saturday night on South Zetterower Avenue.

Jordan Aubrey, 17, suffered a severe head injury when he fell off a moving vehicle, according to police. The accident occurred about 11 p.m. near Clean Getaway Car Wash.

Aubrey died Monday afternoon at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

"The investigation has not revealed Aubrey was struck by, or run over by, a vehicle," said Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner. "Based on the current status of the investigation, the Statesboro Police Department does not anticipate any criminal charges against the driver of the vehicle."
