Bulloch County sheriff's deputies used Tasers on a man they said was threatening others with a knife on Saturday at a Martin Lanier Road home. William Wylie Conder, 58, of Martin Lanier Road in Nevils, was charged with battery, third-degree cruelty to children and disorderly conduct after an elderly woman suffered a cut during a scuffle between him and another man, according to Bulloch County Jail reports. Deputies were called to the home around 8:20 p.m. Saturday and arrived to see two people in the windows, calling for help and motioning them inside.
