No one scored the hole-in-one to win the $1 million 40-year annuity put up by State Farm Insurance, but the three-day tournament raised nearly $16,000 for Prevent Child Abuse of Bulloch County. Here's your chance to win $1 million with just one shot.

The Exchange Club of Statesboro will host its biggest fundraiser of the year, the Million Dollar Shootout, beginning Thursday at The Clubhouse.

Qualifying rounds are 6-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 1-6 p.m. Saturday. The top 10 qualifiers — those who hit a golf ball closest to a designated hole — compete in the shootout, scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday. Shooting a hole-in-one during the shootout wins the contestant $1 million.

Qualifying-round tickets may be purchased at www.milliondollarshootout.eventbrite.com, as can gold and platinum sponsorships. For more information, email statesboroexchangeclub@gmail.com.

The event is sponsored by the Exchange Club of Statesboro, The Clubhouse, AgSouth Farm Credit, Northland Communications and Minuteman Press of Statesboro. Proceeds benefit child abuse prevention efforts in Bulloch County.
