Statesboro police are investigating an armed robbery reported to have occurred Friday night at a Morris Street location.
According to incident reports, a 21-year-old man came to the Statesboro Police Department around 8:30 p.m. Friday and told detectives that he and a friend, an 18-year-old male, had been robbed at gunpoint about 15 minutes earlier.
The victim said neither he nor his friend knew who the gunman was but that he "pulled a gun" on them and ordered them to "empty their pockets," reports said.
No injuries were reported.
The alleged offender did not take any valuables from the victims, according to reports.
