A Pembroke man was killed Sunday when his motorcycle struck a car turning left. According to Georgia State Patrol reports, Jessie S. Callaway, 22, of North Main Street in Pembroke, was traveling south on Bennett Grooms Road around 6:35 p.m., when he tried passing two vehicles in front of him, traveling in the same direction. The crash occurred near Henry Futch Road, reports state.Toni Michelle Barnard, 32, of Crossway Cottages Lane in Statesboro, was tuning left into a private driveway and was using her turn signal to indicate the turn, reports state.
