With the approval of the Hirsch family, the Statesboro Herald and statesboroherald.com will broadcast live the funeral Thursday of their beloved husband, father and grandfather - Nate Hirsch.
        A Statesboro icon and the original "Voice of the Georgia Southern Eagles," Hirsch passed away Sunday at his Statesboro residence. He was 68.
        The funeral will be held Thursday at Connection Church on Cawana Road in Statesboro beginning at 11 a.m.
