Dr.  Horace, Deal, O.D., owner of Vision Source-Professional Eye Care of Statesboro welcomes Dr. Erika Morrow, M.S., O.D., to his practice.  

Dr. Morrow attended the University of Colorado at Denver and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012. She received her Doctorate of Optometry and Masters of Vision Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated with honors in 2016. While in optometry school, Dr. Morrow was inducted into both the Gold Key Honor Society and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. 

As a student, she completed an externship in ocular disease at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center and a primary eye care rotation at a private practice in Birmingham, Ala. She also completed rotations within the UAB Optometry School including primary eye care, contact lens, and pediatric eye care where she was recognized as an outstanding clinician. Upon completing her training, she returned to Colorado and joined a group practice where she specialized in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

Dr. Morrow has an interest in specialty contact lenses that are used to improve the sight of those patients who have eye conditions, including keratoconus, high astigmatism, post-surgical corneas and severe dry eye. Dr. Morrow brings knowledge and passion about Dry Eye Syndrome and she is adamant about treatment plans that offer relief from dry eye symptoms, including redness, irritation, itching, and watering. 

Dr. Morrow is one of eight children and she is has 15 nieces/nephews. She was born and raised in Denver, Colo, and moved to Statesboro when her husband Brian Morrow, accepted an engineering position at Gulfstream in July 2017.  

Dr. Morrow and her husband have three dogs. They enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, & spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to getting involved in the Statesboro community and building lasting relationships with her patient.
