The Downtown Statesboro Development Authority will celebrate the start of high school football season with local players, cheerleaders, coaches and bands at the annual Downtown Pep Rally on Friday from 5:30-8 p.m. on the Bulloch County Courthouse lawn. Fans are invited to cheer for their favorite team in this First Friday event for August. Statesboro High School, Bulloch Academy, Southeast Bulloch High School and Portal High School are all participating, the DSDA announced.
