Daniel Goodwin, an RN, was named Employee of the Month at East Georgia Regional Medical Center for February.

Goodwin has been part of the team at the hospital for more than two years.

Goodwin was nominated by his colleagues for his work ethic, dedication, sense of ownership and commitment to providing quality service and his positive attitude while supporting his fellow dialysis and critical care team members.

One nomination described Goodwin as the, “epitome of a great co-worker and employee. He comes in early and stays late making sure all of our dialysis patients are taken care of."

A colleague said, “Daniel is always concerned about his coworkers and his department and making sure that they all run flawlessly. Patients are regularly commenting on how nice and caring he is. He is also furthering his education to be a more effective provider of care.”

“Daniel is a valuable asset to our team and the patient’s experience at EGRMC." EGRMC CEO, Stephen Pennington said. “He has dedicated his time and energy to being a great team member."
