Statesboro Police Arrests

            Allen Deterian Littles, 20, West Grady Street — probation violation, wanted person.

            Paul Bryan Thomas, 36, Gordon Highway Unit, Harlem — two counts of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana, amphetamines).

            Avis Jermaine McNeely, 32, Skinner Mill Road, Augusta — driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance.

            George Adam Ruiz, 29, Lee Road, Phoenix City — expired driver's license, possession of marijuana under one ounce.

            Brandon John Zienowicz, 21, Rucker Lane — driving under the influence.

            Steven Thomas Warnekei, 22, Olympic Boulevard — affray, public intoxication, criminal trespass.

            Joshua David Tankersley, 24, Jamerson Forest Parkway, Marietta — affray, public intoxication, criminal trespass.

            Corey Antawin Hayton, 35, East Olliff Street — wanted person, obstruction of a police officer.

             

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests

             There were no reported arrests.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Charity Flint, 23, North Roundtree, Metter — driving under the influence (.120).

            Sheila Pressley, 41, Taylor Road, Millen — driving under the influence (refused test).

            Nicholas Prodgen, PO Box, Ellabell — driving under the influence (pending).

            Clint Martin, Geiger Street — underage driving under the influence (.116).

            George Ramirez, Sagebrush Road, Metter — underage driving under the influence (.049).

             

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            There were no reported arrests.

             

Statesboro Police Incidents

            WILDWOOD VILLAS — A woman's boyfriend came to her house, kicked on the door until the door frame broke then pushed the victim. He fled by the time officers arrived.

            PARTNER'S ANTIQUES — Someone took a Nintendo DS and two games from an employee's desk drawer.

            INSTITUTE STREET — A school bus was damaged when the driver hit a phone line with the bus, breaking off the right rear view mirror. Though there were six students on the bus at the time, no one was injured.

            EAGLE AUTO — A woman claimed that the throttle cable was broken sometime after the car had been towed into the shop. It had been towed due to engine problems.

            PLANTATION VILLAS — A man and a woman claimed that another man had called them and threatened the man. The officer called the offender and advised him to cease all communications.

            SOUTH MULBERRY STREET — Someone took a blue diamondback mountain bike from a woman's garage.

            VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY — During a road safety check, a man was found to have no insurance for his vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle found amphetamines and a small amount of marijuana.

            VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY — While conducting a road safety check, a man presented officers with an expired Alabama license. A search of his vehicle turned up a small amount of marijuana.

            SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man was discovered driving under the influence during a road safety check.

            KENT STREET — A woman complained of harassing phone calls. She had asked the man to stop but he refused.

            SOUTHERN VILLAS — Someone shattered the rear glass door of a man's apartment.

            SOUTH MAIN STREET — At a safety road check, the passenger in a white Trailblazer was found to have alcohol on his breath and was cited for underage possession.

            DON CORLEONES — Someone took the yellow health inspection sign from the window.

            HARVEYS SUPERMARKET — While at work, someone entered a man's car and took an electric guitar, some CDs and some rugby balls.

            SOUTH MAIN STREET — During a road side safety check, the driver and passenger were found to be smelling of alcohol and were both cited for underage possession of alcohol. The car was released to a sober driver.

            PLAYERS CLUB APARTMENTS — Officers met with the Tri-County Drug Task Force about a possible felony amount of marijuana in an apartment. When officers went inside the apartment, a large amount of marijuana was seized.

            SOUTH MAIN STREET — Two passengers in a vehicle were given a breathalizer at a road side safety check. Both were issued citations for possession of alcohol by underage individuals.     

            SOUTH MAIN STREET — At a road side safety check, a man was given a breathalizer test. He was issued a citation for underage possession of alcohol and released.

           

                                   

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents

            There were no reported arrests.

                                               

Georgia State Patrol Incidents

            Troopers issued 46 citations and 30 warnings, made three drug arrests, assisted 6 motorists, investigated 11 crashes, helped 8 injured people and had one blood relay.

             

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            There were no reported incidents.

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 13 calls.

             Statesboro Police Department — 18 calls.

            University Police Department — one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — seven calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.

 

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department —13 calls.

             Statesboro Police Department — 21 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — five calls.

            Brooklet Police — two calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — six calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — one call.

            Claxton Police Department — one calls.

           

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — one call.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — two calls.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

            Claxton Rescue Unit — one calls.

 

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

            Claxton Rescue Unit — two call.

            Hagan Fire Department — one call.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Friday:

            Bulloch County EMS — three accidents and 12 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one medical call and one fire call. 

            Evans County EMS — six medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed one call Effingham County .

 

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Saturday:

            Bulloch County EMS — 11 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls and one fire.   

            Central 911 operators also routed five calls to Emmanuel County and one call to the Bull County Coroner.
