Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 24 traffic violation citations Sunday.
        
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Shannon Thomas, 23, address unknown — obstruction of an officer and giving false information to an officer.
   Kashiff T. Jenkins, 21,  Mill Creek Estates — financial transaction card theft and financial transaction  card fraud.
   Officers issued one traffic citation Friday, and one citation Saturday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents   
     CAMBRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman told police someone entered her vehicle and took a CD faceplate. In a separate incident, a man reported the theft of a lap top computer from his car, and said the offender left a CD faceplate in the vehicle. The face plate turned out to be long to the first complainant.
    VARSITY LODGE APARTMENTS — Police charged a woman with second degree arson after she set two men's hats on fire. The blaze ignited a guard rail, causing damage as well.
    WAL-MART — A woman said someone took her purse from the buggy while she loaded groceries into her vehicle.
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — A woman told police two "squatters" were living in an apartment she owns without paying rent or signing a lease, and without her permission.
    PETS AND PEOPLE — An employee was trying to muzzle a brown dachshund when the dog bit her. The dog's owner was cited for failure to have proof of rabies vaccination for the dog.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
     WILLOW LANE — (Brooklet) A woman said her husband struck her with something he threw during an argument about her seasoning the green beans in a way he did not like. The man told deputies he threw a bottle of dish detergent at the woman. He was arrested.
    DENMARK HARDWARE — (Nevils) A woman said someone wrote profane and lewd statements on the laundromat wall next the hardware store. The graffiti was accompanied by a phone number and the name "Mike," but when deputies called the number the person answering said they knew no one by that name.
    HIGHTOWER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said a juvenile pointed a shotgun at him as he passed by in his vehicle.
    MILL CREEK LODGE APARTMENTS — (Clito) A man said he and his brother were both extremely intoxicated and argued. The brother took his wallet and left in a blue truck, he said.
    DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — (Register) A woman said her estranged husband was living with his brother but forced his way into her home to lay on her couch. She told him several times to leave but he refused. When deputies arrived, the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs, reports stated. The man told deputies he had a drug problem. They placed him under arrest for criminal trespass, and took him into custody. When the man resisted, deputies used a Taser to subdue him.
    BRINSON ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said a man renting from her moved and took a TV she owned.
          
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 28 warnings, assisted one motorist, and investigated three crashes with two reported injuries Sunday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
      RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — Someone reported a cell phone and an I.D. card were taken.
  HENDERSON LIBRARY — Someone reported a wallet  taken .
  SIGMA PI HOUSE — Someone reported a window broken.
   FRIDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings,  assisted two motorists and responded to one fire alarm.
     SATURDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings,
 assisted three motorists and one sick person, and responded to two fire
 alarms.
    KENNEDY HALL  — A CD player face plate and several CDs were taken from a vehicle  in the Kennedy Hall.
  EAGLE VILLAGE PARKING LOT — Someone told police a radar detector and several CDs were taken from a vehicle in the parking lot. Another person reported someone entered a vehicle in the parking lot, but said nothing was missing.
   SUNDAY — Officers assisted two motorists and one sick person.

    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - 15 calls.
     Statesboro Police Department — nine calls.

    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — two calls.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident calls and five medical calls.   
     Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed two calls to Bryan County 911.
