Statesboro Police Arrests    
    Jackey Smiley, 45, North Main Street — marijuana possession, wanted person (theft by conversion, theft of services).
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Several juveniles were arrested on various charges including damaging mail boxes or mail, unruly juvenile, aggravated assault, and criminal trespass.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued for citations Tuesday for traffic violations.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Officers issued one traffic citation Tuesday.
         
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    CLAIBORNE AVENUE — A man said he found a strange man in his yard who said he was lost and looking for Gentilly Drive.
    PARK AVENUE BANK — A man cashed a check that was later discovered to be fraudulent.
    LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman went to a man's house to get her children's hair cut and     became involved in an argument with the man. The man grabbed her and pushed her out the door, she said. Witnesses told police the woman was the aggressor in the incident.
    MADISON MEADOWS APARTMENTS — A woman said a juvenile calls and harasses another juvenile, making threats and being insulting.
    CLAIRE'S BOUTIQUE — Two male juveniles were caught after they shoplifted a pair of earrings and fled.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    GRIMSHAW ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman said she tried to purchase an item from television with her credit card and the operators told her the card was not valid. She checked and found two transactions on her card that she did not make.    
    LIVE OAK LOOP — (Ellabell) A woman said a Clyo man, her ex-fiance, made several threatening and abusive phone calls to her.
    MOOSE LODGE — (Statesboro) Someone pried open a door and caused extensive damage to the building but did not take anything, including some cash that a key holder said was there.
    HILL LANE — (Portal)  A woman told deputies someone broke into her home and took jewelry, Nike shoes, a bottle of Crown Royal liquor and a white pit bulldog with a brown nose.
    STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD — (Stilson) A man reported the theft of 15 flower bulbs and a bird bath.
    U.S. 301 NORTH — (Statesboro) A man told deputies his juvenile son spent the weekend with the child's mother, and while there, the child's aunt and another woman living there gave the juvenile marijuana to smoke.
    RAVEN LANE — (Statesboro)     A woman reported a burglary in which a Nintendo Game Cube and X-Box  as well as a Fossil watch were taken.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued eight warnings, assisted five motorists and investigated six crashes with four reported injuries Tuesday.
    BULLOCH COUNTY — During the month of April, troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 45 investigated 69 crashes resulting in 56 injuries, according to Post Commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright. Troopers also issued 412 citations including 15 DUI arrests, 206 speeding tickets, 53 seat belt citations and three child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 512 warnings during this month.
    CANDLER COUNTY —  During the month of April, troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 45 investigated 12 crashes resulting in 11 injuries    and one fatality, according to Post Commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright. Troopers also issued 112 citations including four DUI arrests, 61 speeding tickets, and seven seat belt citations. Troopers also issued 84 warnings during this month.
    EVANS COUNTY —  During the month of April, troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 45 investigated four crashes resulting in six injuries, according to Post Commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright. Troopers also issued 48 citations including four DUI arrests, 14 speeding tickets, four seat belt citations and one child restraint violation. Troopers also issued 80 warnings during this month.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
     SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Someone reported a blender was taken.
    OLLIFF HALL — A laptop computer was reported stolen.
      FOY BUILDING — Someone reported a suspicious person.
    CARROLL BUILDING — Two bicycles taken from Henderson Library were later recovered at the Carroll Building.
    Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted six motorists and two sick persons, and responded to one fire alarm Tuesday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - 14 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 23 calls.
    University Police Departments — two calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — seven calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — four calls.
    Claxton Police Department — one call.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — five calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — six calls.
    Metter Fire Department — three calls.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call and 12 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — five  medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — two medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Waycross Police and a call to Bryan County 911.
