Statesboro Police Incidents    
    WAL-MART — In one incident, store detectives caught two women placing dog products, hygienic items and electronics in purses and trying to leave without paying.
    In a separate incident, store employees saw two people bagging items they did not scan at a self-checkout station.
    BELK — A woman and juvenile male were caught stealing a pair of shorts.
    WILLOW BEND APARTMENTS — A manager found a man staying in a vacant apartment, using electricity from another apartment by running an extension cord. She made him leave and locked the door, but he used a window to get back inside and hooked up the extension cord again.
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — Police spoke with a group of people after receiving a call about a fight. A man suffered injury from a fight with his sister, and in a separate report regarding the same incident, a woman claimed another female and am ale struck her in the mouth. She said the man also brandished two guns; the accused female offender told police the complainant assaulted her.
    BUDGET INN — An officer responded to a reported domestic dispute where a man said a woman struck him and the woman said he pushed her.

    Troopers issued 66 warnings, assisted seven motorists and investigated three crashes with one reported injury Friday.
