SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A man said another man approached him and tried to sell him two cigarettes, then fled on a bike with the victim's $20. The victim chased the offender, who abandoned the bike and ran on foot.
VARSITY LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman said a man beat her juvenile daughter and held a gun to her head, threatening to shoot her.
COTTON AVENUE — A man said his son used his Social Security number to obtain a credit card.
