Statesboro Police Arrests
    Twyla Burke, 28, Lanier Drive — theft by shoplifting.
    Terrence Alexander Dallas, 22, Bermuda Run Apartments — hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident; failure to yield, driving in violation of license requirements.
    Tasia Nashae Johnson, 22, Foxridge Apartments — marijuana possession.
    Devoris Torell Fryer, 23, Ga. 23. Waynesboro — marijuana possession.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Nathaniel Tyler III, 17, Cypress Lake Road — aggravated child molestation, sodomy/aggravated sodomy, enticing a child for indecent purposes.
        
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Arrests made Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.
       
Statesboro Police Incidents
     W. A. BRAGG — A man reported the theft of 100 pieces of PVC pipe.
    NORTH MAIN STREET — A man told police he found items reported stolen from a neighbor in one of his employee's car. The items were returned, a waiver of prosecution was signed and four men were fired and told not to return to the premises.
    LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS —  Police responded to a domestic dispute over missing rent money and the male party's friendship with a female who was not the woman involved in the argument.
    CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A complainant reported the theft of a Play Station III, controllers and two games.
    RUDE RUDY'S — A man became irate at being told to leave because of his clothing. He said he was not dressed any differently than others. He admitted to police he had been drinking and displayed unruly and irate behavior in police presence and was made to leave after being served criminal trespass.
    JOHNSON STREET — A man was injured in the lips and teeth when he opened the door to a man who was knocking. The unknown assailant struck the victim repeatedly, and he ended up being taken to the emergency room for injuries.
    JACKSONS — Officers responded to a call about a man with a gun and arrived to find a group of people outside, one holding a firearm. The man was charged with marijuana possession but reports did not indicate he was charged regarding possession of the gun.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
      RUSHING ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said someone shattered a window at his home, but nothing was missing.
    LUNDY'S TRAILER PARK — (Statesboro) A man said a woman came to his home and cursed him. He said he feels the woman knows something about a burglary that occurred at his home previously and had made statements regarding his belief that  her son was responsible. This  made the woman angry and caused her to come harass him, he said.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
     Incidents occurring  Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.
    BULLOCH COUNTY — During the month of November, Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 45 in Statesboro investigated 85 crashes resulting in 51 injuries, said Post Commander Sgt. First-Class C. Wright.
    Post 45 troopers also issued 430 traffic citations that month, including 25 DUI arrests, 237 speeding tickets, 47 seat belt violations and eight child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 394 warnings, he said.
    CANDLER COUNTY — During the month of November, Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 45 in Statesboro investigated 11 crashes resulting in 10 injuries and one fatality, said Post Commander Sgt. First-Class C. Wright.
    Post 45 troopers also issued 203 traffic citations that month, including eight DUI arrests, 107 speeding tickets, 33 seat belt violations and one child restraint violation. Troopers also issued 196 warnings, he said.
    EVANS COUNTY — During the month of November, Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 45 in Statesboro investigated nine crashes resulting in six injuries, said Post Commander Sgt. First-Class C. Wright.
    Post 45 troopers also issued 123 traffic citations that month, including three DUI arrests, 56 speeding tickets, 27  seat belt violations and two child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 132 warnings, he said.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Thursday, officers issued two warnings, investigated an accident, assisted five motorists and responded to two alarms.
    KENNEDY HALL — Someone reported the theft of a digital camera.
    Incidents occurring over the weekend will be published Tuesday.
    
Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Nov. 26 to Dec. 2:
    Animals received:
    Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — 32 dogs and 11 cats.
    Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — two dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens — three dogs and six cats.
    Number in litters surrendered — eight puppies and 13 kittens.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions — six dogs and two cats.
    Humane Society adoptions — one dog.
    Pets & People adoptions — eight dogs and one cat.
    Euthanized  — 15 dogs and five cats; two dogs from adoption floor.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Court summons/citations — six.
    Warnings — 15.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $595.
    Surrender fees — $30.
    Donations — $20.
