Statesboro Police Arrests    
    NOTICE — Drug charges  were dropped against the following: Mark Anthony Mincey, Alonzo Houston and Lavon Montrel Deon Jones, according to Statesboro Police. The three were initially charged with trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of MDMA (Ecstasy) with intent to distribute and possession of MDMA with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, but all charges were dropped.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    James Phillip Nesmith, 30, Cowboy Way, Portal — battery.
    Samuel Matthew Agnew, 31, Lakeview Road — simple battery.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
     Troopers issued 14 citations Tuesday for traffic violations.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      No arrests filed.

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    MATTHEWS ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies someone used orange paint to spray graffiti on his driveway and dump truck. The artist sprayed an orange mushroom on the driveway, wrote "Hey Dude" on a building and drew a penis on the man's dump truck windshield.    
    WEST RUSHING ROAD — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to an argument between roommates over music. One woman said the other played her music too loudly, and she doesn't approve of the music and does not wish her son to be exposed to it. The offender said she does not like the house rules and wants to move out.
    CLIFTON ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman called deputies because her mother, who h ad been spending the night with her, became intoxicated and started yelling, cursing and throwing her daughter's clothes outside. When deputies arrived, the mother was gone, but shortly after they left the daughter called and said the mother was back. Deputies found her curled into a fetal position beside a closet, smelling of alcohol.
    TEAL CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A couple argued over housecleaning and the argument escalated until t he two became physically combative, leaving bruises on each other.
    HENDRIX CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman clawed the arms of her sister until they were bloody because the sister approached her about getting treatment for a drinking problem.
    STUBBS METALS — (Statesboro) Deputies saw a man with only one headlight and followed him with blue lights, but the man continued driving until he arrived at a driveway. He jumped out of the car and ran towards a gate yelling that his business was being robbed, and refused deputies' orders to stop until they threatened him with a Taser. The offender's passenger later reported someone broke into a vehicle in the business property and took a CD player and other items.
    PAMELA WAY — A  man reported the theft of several wrapped Christmas gifts - children's toys - and a video game system.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 18 warnings and investigated three crashes with two reported injuries Tuesday.

Statesboro-Bulloch Animal Shelter Reports
    Dec. 11-17:

    Abandoned animals — one.
    Surrendered animals — seven dogs, six cats.
    Litters surrendered — three litters totaling five puppies and a litter of two kittens.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement — eight dogs and three cats picked up. One call in the county about a deer. Nine warnings and two citations issued.
    Shelter adoptions — four dogs and two cats.
    Humane Society adoptions — 16 dogs.
    Returned to owners — one dog.
    Died at shelter — six dogs.
    Euthanized — 23 dogs and a cat.
    Fees collected — $210 in adoption fees, $30 in surrender fees, $25 in fines for  returned pets, $5 in donations.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - 14 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 20 calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — one call.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — five calls.
    Metter Fire Department — one call.
    Claxton Fire Department — four calls.
    Hagan Fire Department — two calls.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, a fire call and 13 medical calls.      
    Candler County EMS — three  medical call.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  a call to the Bulloch County coroner and Bryan County 911.
