Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Stevie Dewayne Dixon, 33, Pleasant Avenue — third offense driving with a suspended license, noise ordinance.

            Haley Marie Lindsay, 17, Georgia Avenue — theft by shoplifting.

            Allen Jamal Smoak, 18, High Tide Drive, Union City — theft by shoplifting.

            Thomas MItchell Prince, 19, Lakeview Road — underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct.

            Dominique Antonio Lanier, 20, Reed Street — disorderly conduct.

            Phillip Brandon West, 28, Bermuda Run Apartments — disorderly conduct.

            Benjamin C, Edwards, 28, Georgia Avenue — underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct.

            J. Coleman Rushing, 19, John R, Coleman Road, Register — disorderly conduct.

            Nicholas Jared Smith, 20, Cokesbury Drive, Savannah — failure to maintain lane, DUI.

            Tavahdric Jamahd Bryant, 25, Loretha Street — possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

                                               

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Clifford Earl Peavey, 26, Nancy Hendrix Homes, Claxton — theft by taking motor vehicle.

            Napoleon Young Jr., 19, Davis Street — no insurance, expired tag, instructional permit violation.

            Gregory Elliott Hendrix, 35, Bonnett Road, Portal — probation violation, two counts; second offense driving with a suspended license, open container, noise violation.

            Marcus Aaron Billups, 20, Pineview Road — obstruction, criminal trespass.

                       

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 22 traffic violation citations Sunday.

            Roy Pierce Clark Jr., 55, South Fork Road, Sylvania — DUI (.181)

            Remy Fitzmaurice, 19, Marietta — DUI (,120).

            Melissa K. Davis, 39, U.S. 80 East — DUI (pending test results).

                                     

Georgia Southern University Arrests

             FRIDAY — Officers issued three traffic citations.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued seven traffic citations.

 

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            JOHNSON LANE — A woman said her ex-boyfriend texted her, wishing she was dead.

            BUTLER HOMES  — A woman said her 13-year-old  granddaughter pushed her down, causing her to hit her face on  the sofa.

            BERMUDA RUN — Police arrested five after responding to a fight.

            THE LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman said a man hit her several times.

            CAMPUS CROSSING — A woman reported her purse stolen from her car.

            OLD REGISTER ROAD — A woman said someone took a camera from her car.

            RUDE RUDY'S — A man said a woman hit him in the head and another woman in the face.

            THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — A man said a book bag, calculator, sunglasses, change and a CD case were taken from his vehicle.

             WEST MAIN STREET — A man told police he and a woman argued because, when he went to pick up his child, her hair was not styled.

            WAL-MART — A man placed batteries and a phone in his pockets and got on a bicycle that was for sale in the store, and tried to ride out of the store without paying for merchandise.

            GATE/SOUTH MAIN STREET — A woman said another woman threatened to harm her.

            BELK — A man said his girlfriend struck him in the face and pulled his hair during an argument.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            No incident reports filed.

           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 20 warnings, assisted 12 motorists and investigated one crash Sunday.

                       

Georgia Southern University Incidents

             FRIDAY — Officers issued  four traffic warnings, assisted six motorists an investigated one accident.

            BRANNEN HALL — Someone said a book bag was taken.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued seven traffic warnings and assisted five motorists.

            SOUTHERN PINES — Someone reported a bicycle was taken.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued seven traffic warnings, assisted two motorists and responded to one alarm.

            EAGLE VILLAGE — A book bag and a GPS system were reportedly taken from a vehicle.

            UNIVERSITY VILLAS —  A fence was reported as being damaged.

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department —  10 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 29 calls.

            Georgia Southern University Police — one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — five calls.

            Portal Police Department — one call.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — one call.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — three  calls.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls and 10 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS —  five medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed a call to the Bulloch County coroner's office.
