Statesboro Police Incidents    
    • JOHNSON STREET — A man said he was walking when another man, driving, “cut him off” and almost struck him with the vehicle.
    • WEST MAIN STREET — A woman said she and her mother argued over the complainant’s daughter taking a television set.
    • WEST MAIN AT SOUTH MAIN STREETS — Police responding to reported shots fired questioned a man who had a .38 caliber hand gun and a permit to carry a concealed weapon. The man said he had fired no shots, but a Bulloch County Sheriff’s deputy arrived and confiscated the permit, and police confiscated the gun until the man could speak with  Probate Judge Lee DeLoach.
    • CHANDLER ROAD — Someone shattered the window at Wings Cafe.
    • WALMART — A woman said a man approached her and several other females asking for money to fix a seat in his vehicle.
    • PEACHTREE STREET — A couple argued after the man accused the woman of “messing with” his brother.
    • SANDY HILL APARTMENTS — A woman and man argued when she refused to allow him to take their son for a visit.
    • In a separate incident, a woman said a man made 15 phone calls to her juvenile daughter, harassing her and making threats.

    • Troopers issued 32 warnings, assisted two motorists, and investigated six accidents with four reported injuries Friday.
