Statesboro Police Arrests

            Jimmy Lee Wright III, Pulaski – driving with a suspended license, seatbelt violation.

            Jennifer Ruth Pearsall, 24, Mulberry Street – driving with a suspended license.

            Melvin Ray Partridge, 22, Lincolnton – window glazing violation (window tint too dark), possession of marijuana, DUI.

            Billy Earl Edwards Jr., 26, Sylvania – driving with a suspended license, no headlights.

            Terry Clifton, 42, Morris Street – wanted person.

            Matthew Ryan Claxton, 20, Lyons – underage possession of alcohol.

            Brandon Llewellyn Gardner, 23, Hwy. 301 – wanted person.

            Damonte Rashad Brewton, 17, Claxton – hit and run, violator of limited permit.

            Chivas Dennard Spivey, 23, Lanier Drive – driving with a suspended license, following too closely.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued four traffic violation citations Friday.

Statesboro Police Incidents

            PACKINGHOUSE ROAD – A woman reported a fire outside of her aparment. Officers responded and saw a fire in the pine straw near the air conditioner unit. The fire department was called.

            LESTER ROAD – A woman went to the police department with a complaint about an unruly juvenile. She said her juvenile daughter was being harassed by other juveniles that she said were bad influences. Juvenile justice was contacted.

            JONES AVENUE – Officers responded to a woman saying her juvenile grandson was being harrassed on the playground near her apartment. The complainant said she had spoken to the offending juvenile's mother and she did not wish pursue the matter any further.

            JOHNSON STREET – Officers responded to a call from a woman saying she and another woman were arguing. The caller said the other woman had taken her house key and had threatened and hit her, which she denied. Officers saw no signs of physical injury.

            LARUE LANE – A man reported a burglary at his home. Officers responded to the man's residence and the man said a skill saw was missing from his home.

Georgia State Patrol Incidents

            Troopers issued 12 warnings, assisted one motorist, and investigated three crashes with no injuries on Friday.

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — eight calls.

             Statesboro Police Department —  21 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — five calls.

            Claxton Police Department — three calls.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — five calls.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — three calls.

            Metter Fire Department — four calls.

            Claxton Fire Department — one call.

            Hagan Fire Department — one call.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Bulloch County EMS — three accident calls and nine medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS —  two medical calls.

            Evans County EMS — one accident call and one medical call.   

            Operators also routed a call to the Georgia Forestry Department, 11 calls to Bryan County, and one call to Buford County.
