A man and woman were airlifted to a Savannah hospital Saturday evening after a crash involving a four-wheeler.

Georgia State Patrol reports state Michael James Pritchard, 24, of Hayes Lake Road in Brooklet, was riding a four-wheeler on Kendricks Road near M.P. Martin Road around 8:19 p.m. Saturday when, for a yet undetermined reason, the four-wheeler flipped.

Pritchard, as well as his fiancee, Holly Slowinski, 23, also of Hayes Lake Road, were airlifted by Air Evac to Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, with serious injuries, according to reports.

GSP officials did not have access to the victims' conditions Monday. Charges are pending further investigation, reports stated.
