Chuck Francis, RN, was named recently as Employee of the Month at East Georgia Regional Medical Center for April. 

Francis has a collective 20+ years of experience as a paramedic, LPN and RN. He has worked and provided service to the community through his tenured positions with Bulloch County EMS, Bulloch County Hospital, and East Georgia Regional Medical Center. This year begins his seventh in the Cardiac Cath Lab, making him one of the senior staff members in the department. 

Francis fills the role of charge nurse within the Cath Lab and with his wealth of knowledge and experience, frequently serves as a resource for other staff. He likes to teach, whether it is a class, precepting a student, orienting a new staff member or providing education to a patient. 

Francis’ passion for nursing is evident in the care he provides his patients. He has had numerous compliments and written recognition from patients and families. Francis said he takes pride in the care he gives his patients and demonstrates a sense of ownership in his department.
