A child struck by a car at Plantation Mobile Home Park Monday suffered only minor injuries. The incident was accidental, according to Georgia State Patrol Senior Trooper Tommy Strickland. Around 2:50 p.m. Monday, an 8-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle as a woman backed out of her driveway.
