A crash Monday between an all-terrain vehicle and a sports utility vehicle left  a juvenile girl in critical condition.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45 troopers responded around 5:42 p.m. Monday to the intersection of Old Thorne Pond Road and Hwy. 80, near the Stilson Country Corner store, where the crash occurred, according to reports.

An ATV occupied by four juveniles apparently traveled on Old Thorne Pond Road onto Hwy. 80, colliding with a Ford SUV. At least three of the children were seriously injured, with one girl being transported by Air Evac to a Savannah hospital, with critical injuries, GSP officials reported.

The crash is still under investigation by the GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT), and additional details, including the children’s ages and the identity of the driver of the Ford SUV, were unavailable Tuesday.

No charges were filed.
