A call about a suspicious vehicle ended up leading to a methamphetamine arrest Sunday, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office. Sr. Deputy Doug Harrell and Sr. Deputy Jeff White responded to the call at Thomas Village, off U.S. Highway 301 North near Clito, and found Prakashkumar Patel, 27, of McCall Boulevard, parked in a black SUV, Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Tuesday. Patel gave deputies several different stories as to why he was parked at the location, and deputies determined he did not know the tenant of the home, the news release says.Upon further investigation, deputies discovered "several bags of methamphetamine along with several glass pipes commonly used to smoke methamphetamine," Anderson said.
