The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners has rescheduled its regular meeting, which was originally set for last Tuesday but cancelled because of Hurricane Debby, to Monday, Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m. But the agenda has been changed so that the board will be acting only on business matters and not zoning requests, which require a renewed hearing notification process.
As previously reported, a $3,395,645 contract bid recommendation for construction and paving of previously dirt Two Chop Road and a section of Banks Creek Church Road, as well as a $547,801 bid recommendation for the Brannen Pond Road drainage reconstruction, are items under “new business.”
So are a more than $6 million contract for county road resurfacing and a change order on a sewer force main relocation as part of the Public Works entrance road project.
Several purchases are grouped together in the consent agenda.
