A victim identified two suspects in an armed robbery Sunday night after they were quickly apprehended by police. The victim, a clerk at the GATE convenience store on South Main Street, suffered an injury after being struck in the head by one of the gunmen, but denied transportation to the hospital, said Madison Bridges Warren, Statesboro Police Community Information Specialist. The victim gave police descriptions of the suspects, and within minutes after the armed robbery was reported around 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Brandon Latrell Blocker, 24, West Inman Street, and Nicholas Maurice Williams, 32, East Jones Avenue, were located.
