The Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce, AgriSupply and Main Street Statesboro invite the public to come out Friday for the 5th annual AG Night Out from 5:30-8 p.m. for an evening of farming fun.

“The Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber Agribusiness Committee teamed up with Main Street Statesboro five years ago to bring AG downtown,” said Andrea Whitfield, chair of the Chamber Agribusiness Committee. “We hold this event every year to showcase Agriculture. Our committee knows how important Agriculture is and we want to share awareness with the entire community. Please come join us as we bring AG to downtown Statesboro.”

This year’s AG Night Out includes live music by Homegrown Band, a pie eating contest, boiled peanuts, friendly animals, agricultural exhibits, a train ride brought to you by Frontier Communications, farm games and activities, and some really big tractors.

“This event has substantially grown the past couple of years thanks to the support of the community and all of AG Night Out’s sponsors,” says Allen Muldrew, executive director of the DSDA.

East Main Street will close at 3:30 p.m. on Friday for AG Night Out.
