Fourteen years ago, Bulloch County’s Ronnie Douberly took a job he said saved his life. It meant he would be away from his family, traveling with Amusements of America, the company that provides the midway for the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair and dozens of other fairs nationwide. Douberly started out as a bumper car operator, but now he is the maintenance supervisor.
