Three men suspected in a June home invasion in Newington are behind bars, said Bahan Rich, special agent-in-charge of the Statesboro office of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Kemel Marquail Thomas, 20, of Millen; Nicholouis Rashad Devine, 25, of Register; and Deion Rodriguez Gant, 20, of Oliver, each have been charged in connection to a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred at a Pryor Road home in Newington, Screven County, on June 20, he said. All three face charges of armed robbery, burglary, first-degree cruelty to children and false imprisonment.
