3 arrested on drug dealing, gun charges
Police seize marijuana, cocaine, stolen gun from apartment

A Statesboro police Impact Team investigation led to the arrest of three men Friday on drug trafficking and gun charges.

Officers executed a search warrant at a Cambridge The Palms Apartment and seized marijuana, cocaine and two guns, one of which was stolen, said Statesboro police Community Information Specialist Madison Warren.

Officers also seized a variety of drug-related objects.

Antwoin Malik Butts, of Thornberry Drive in Sandersville; Napoleon Dalennie Lindsey, of Chandler Road; and Larry Orenthal Mitchell, of Woodland Drive, were all arrested and taken to the Bulloch County Jail, she said.

Butts, 21; Lindsey, 21; and Mitchell, 24, are all charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drug-related objects.

Mitchell is also charged with theft by receiving stolen property, she said.

All three remain in jail pending further court hearings.
