Mr. and Mrs. Luke Shurling of Brooklet, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Lauren Williamson of Brooklet, to Curtis Joseph Todd of Claxton, Ga., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Joe Todd.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Shurling of Brooklet, Blanche Robertson and the late Rev. David Snelgrove, and Betty Williamson and the late John Williamson of Hawkinsville, Ga. She is a 2010 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2013 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College in early childhood education. She is currently employed with ADRS Services Inc. in Savannah, Ga.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Lyndon and June Kicklighter and the late Junior and Joyce Todd of Claxton, Ga. He is a 2012 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College in wildlife management. He is currently employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections.
The couple has planned to wed on October 11, 2014, at 5 p.m. at Meldrim Woods Plantation in Brooklet.
