Mr. and Mrs. Russell Grant Tillman of Statesboro and Ms. Vickie Ann Ennis of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Nicole Tillman of Statesboro, to John Christopher Starling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keith Starling.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late retired Chief Master Sgt. and Mrs. James R. Ennis and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. Tillman Sr. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is currently employed with the Bryan County Board of Commissioners.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Davis Sr. and Mrs. Barbara P. Starling and the late Mr. Aubrey E. Starling. He is a graduate of Bryan County High School and is currently employed with Ironworkers Local 709.

The couple is planning to wed on October 15, 2016, at 5 p.m. at the Davis-Lowe Barn in Ellabell.
