Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Tillman and Mr. and Mrs. John Rule of Statesboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Brannen Tillman, to William Everette Simmons, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simmons of Swainsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Allan Malone of Lyons.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Lee Tillman and the late Mr. Billy Tillman of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Kaney of Savannah. Miss Tillman is a graduate of Statesboro High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a BBA in business management. She also obtained her MBA from Georgia Southern University. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is currently employed by Southern Family Dental Group.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Simmons of Swainsboro and Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Wheeler of Kite. Mr. Simmons is a graduate of David Emanuel Academy and the University of Georgia, where he earned a BBA from the Terry College of Business. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is currently employed by HeritageBank of The South.
    The couple plans to wed on October 25, 2014, at Lake Oconee.
