Mrs. Cynthia Marie Sloan and Mr. Alfred Franklin Sloan of Loganville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Ann Sloan, to Frederick Ganahl Blitch III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Ganahl Blitch Jr. of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Frederick Lawrence Roy Jr. and the late Mrs. June Rachel Roy of Monroe, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alton Sloan of Loganville, Ga. Victoria is a 2007 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University in 2011. She is employed with Southern Wellness and Rehab as the wellness coordinator.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth Moore Walker and the late Mr. Franklin DeLeon Walker of Greensboro, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Ganahl Blitch Sr. of Statesboro. Erick is a 2005 graduate of Bulloch Academy and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Georgia Southern University in 2009, where he was a member of the Eta Zeta Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is employed with Hospice Advantage as a community relations manager.
    The couple has planned to wed on March 23, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Statesboro.
