Ms. Brachel Rogers and Mr. Charles Jones of Statesboro announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Ms. Angela Lemons of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Mr. John Lewis Lemons Jr. of Kennett, Missouri, and Terry Rogers of Phoenix, Arizona. Brachel is the granddaughter of the late Robert O. Hoy and Arie Lee Hoy of Blytheville, Ark. She is employed with Viracon Glass Fabrication and is a part-time student at Georgia Southern University, where she is pursuing a degree in Psychology.
    The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Doy Johnson of Statesboro and is the grandson of the late James Lipsey Sr. and Mrs. Winnifred Lipsey of Statesboro. A graduate of Statesboro High School, he is employed with Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
    The couple will exchange vows during a private ceremony among family and close friends on October 8, 2011.
