Mr. and Mrs. Rick Ragan of Bainbridge, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Lee Ragan of Bainbridge, to Kyle Robert Shaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shaver of Thomasville, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Palmer Rich and the late Sibyl Rich of Bainbridge and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ragan of Bainbridge. She graduated from the University of Georgia, with a BS in Sport and Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Kinesiology. She is pursuing a career in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Corporate Wellness.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones of Milan, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shaver and the late Ann Shaver of Brooklet, Ga. He graduated from Georgia Southern University, with a BBA in Business Management. He is a benefits specialist with Flowers Foods in Thomasville, Ga.
    The couple has planned to wed on March 31, 2012, at 6 p.m. in Bainbridge.
