Mr. and Mrs. Juan and Betty Bolden of Hampton, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Plymouth, to Tavares Stephens, son of Mark and Betty Brown-Stephens of Virginia Beach, Va., and Gilbert and Stephanie Lundy of Orlando, Fla.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alfred and Betty Plymouth Sr., Patsy Hines and Ruth Drake of Kinston, N.C. Jennifer is a 2006 graduate of Livingstone College, with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Lonnie and Valerie Brown and Virginia Lundy of Statesboro, Ga., Mary Lundy of Orlando, Fla., and Myrtis Stephens of Melbourne, Fla. Tavares is a 2007 graduate of Livingstone College, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information.
    The wedding ceremony will be held at the Palmer's in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, August 6th, 2011, at 6 p.m.
