Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Newman Jr. of Denmark celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on October 4, 2011. The couple was married in 1947 in Claxton, Ga. Their children are Pat Wilson and B.E. Newman III, both of Denmark, and Ben Newman, who preceded them in death. They have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
