Lyndsay Brooke McMillan Carroll Emory Waldhour

    Mr. Lenward D. McMillan Jr. of Sylvania, Ga., and Mrs. Janice B. Knoblich of Statesboro, Ga., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lyndsay Brooke McMillan of Statesboro, to Carroll Emory Waldhour of Statesboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin N. Waldhour of Guyton, Ga.
       The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Lenward D. McMillan Sr. and the late Jewell C. McMillan of Sylvania and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy M. Parker of Sylvania. Lyndsay graduated from Screven County High School in 2002 and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Georgia Southern University in 2008. She recently graduated from the Augusta Area Dietetic Internship in June 2009 and is now a registered dietitian at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Ga. Lyndsay will begin her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics through Central Michigan University this fall.
       The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Lera S. Worrell and the late Carroll L. Worrell of Rincon, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Emory A. Waldhour of Rincon. Carroll graduated from South Effingham County High School in 2003. He is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College and will receive two Associate degrees in Computer Networking and Computer Support Specialist this upcoming summer. Carroll is presently employed by Georgia Southern University as an electronic lock technician. He will begin his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology at Georgia Southern University this fall.
       The couple will wed June 2010 at the Georgia Southern Botanical Garden in Statesboro.
